The Fauna and Flora

Well-known for the Big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo), the Kruger National Park is home to 147 mammal species, 33 amphibian species, 50 fish species, 115 reptile species, 230 butterfly species, over 500 bird species, 336 tree species and an abundance of botanical wonders. This sets the setting for a great wildlife safari in the heart of Africa!

Add that all up and there’s loads to see!

The Kruger National Park is also home to the Little 5 (ant lion, leopard tortoise, elephant shrew, rhino beetle and buffalo weaver).
